    What you'll be doing

    Atturra's Regional Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the finance management and financial operations of the Canberra based businesses.

    This ranges from day-to-day accounting processing to reporting for the executive team of the ACT office with currently 100 staff and subcontractors.

    • Key deliverables include, but are not limited to:
    • Day to day processing in ERP of all finance transactions except for revenue, debtors and payroll
    • Month end journal entries for management accounts
    • Preparation of Atturra reports including reconciliations for balance sheet
    • Preparation of ACT Group report
    • AASB15 calculations and monitoring
    • Monthly individual billing report for consulting team relating to utilization
    • Compiling and preparing bank payments
    • BAS calculation and submission
    • Budget preparation for ACT Group
    • Fortnightly detailed cash flow forecast
    • Ad hoc requests for additional reporting and documenting of systems/process (including policy documents)
    • Half year and yearly external audit assistance
    • Providing assistance with group revenue board pack
    • Statutory Reporting - 1⁄2 year and full year results (by February and August)
    • Financial reporting for ACT Group
    • Approval of workflows for ACT Group
    • Process efficiency projects\
    • Identifying improvements to current processes for example cloud-based system for lease-based accounting and ERP migration
    • Documenting system processes and relevant roles to create procedure documents for Canberra based business
    • Providing finance related support to the Atturra business

    What will make you successful in this role?

    • Exceptional communication skills and adjust communication according to the stakeholder
    • Complex stakeholder management, managing multiple and competing deadlines
    • Staff management experience
    • Advanced Excel for analysis and manipulation of large data sets
    • Previous experience using large financial systems
    • Microsoft Dynamics 365 and ESS Sage an advantage
    • ASX listed experience is an advantage
    • Commercial acumen is essential
    • Key internal and external stakeholder relationship management
    • Adaptably and flexibility

    Qualifications:

    • Professional Qualification CPA or CA
    • Minimum 10 years' experience ideally with a professional services background
