    Job Title: Underground Drill Fitter

    About the Role

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced underground drill fitter to join our Lonsdale Workshop team. As an underground drill fitter, you will be responsible for daily service and repairs to the underground drill rigs to maintain safety and reliability standards according to manufacturer specifications and requirements.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform daily service and repairs to underground drill rigs to ensure optimal performance and reliability
    • Conduct routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with drill rigs and equipment
    • Maintain accurate records of work completed and equipment maintenance

    About You

    To be successful in this role, you will have:

    • Proven experience in the repairs and maintenance of Sandvik drill rigs
    • Dedicated commitment to safety and quality assurance
    • Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
    • Previous experience in the mining industry preferred but not essential
    • Physically fit for the demands of the role
    • Minimum of a manual class driver's license
    • Australian recognised Trade Certificate or Cert III in Mobile Plant

    Salaries

    The estimated salary for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
