Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in Queensland's community? Our client is seeking a passionate Financial Accountant to drive their mission.

As the Financial Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in driving month-end processes, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements, and collaborating with their shared service partner.

Here's what you'll do:

• Assist with month-end processes, including accruals, journals, and reconciliations;
• Contribute to annual planning and development;
• Prepare for external audits and ensure compliance;
• Provide support to payroll and maintain Fixed Asset Registers;
• Help with BAS preparation and policy development;
• Assist with Budgets & forecasts; and
• Drive process improvements and maintain stakeholder engagement.

What we're looking for:

• Two + years in a similar role;
• Professional accounting qualifications (CPA or CA);
• Sound technical accounting skills and familiarity with financial systems;
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Excel; and
• Passion for sustainability and community impact.
