    BOUT THE ROLE

    We have an opportunity for an experienced Information Officer to join a collaborative team in one of our Public sector clients.

    The role will focus on the review and enforcement action and reports across NSW Tobacco Regulations and Compliance.

    This role is paying up to $55.00 per hour + super

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

    • Review of enforcement actions and reports to before enforcement action and ensure that it aligns with NSW Government legislations.
    • Develop and implement enforcement governance documents, policies, procedures and protocols
    • Review prosecution briefs and prepare approval documents to progress court prosecutions.
    • Conduct all court appearance work for prosecutions from the Tobacco & E-cigarettes Compliance Team.
    • Ensure compliance is completed in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols.

    THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

    • Experience working in public sector in similar role.
    • Strong working knowledge of NSW regulatory and compliance.
    • Knowledge of compliance and regulation around tobacco laws would also be beneficial.
    • Experience conducting court appearance work.
    • Legal qualifications and good knowledge of NSW laws and legislations.
    • Strong written and verbal communication with good experience in report writing.
    • Experienced in establishing policies and procedures with ability to implement continuous improvement.
