With us you can kick start your employment as an early career nurse or midwife through our comprehensive and individually tailored program. With full time or part time options available (minimum 0.8 FTE), our 12-month program is coupled with an additional Consolidation Year to further support your transition to practice and develop your clinical skills and knowledge.

Prince of Wales Private Hospitaloffers comprehensive care and services in a modern and well-equipped facility. 24-hour medical cover supports the clinical services and our Intensive Care Unit is staffed by experienced specialised nurses and medical officers. Our Hospital has been recognised for providing high quality, patient-focused care since its opening in 1997. We recognise the integral and important role we play as part of our community.

Enrolled Nurses at Healthscope perform a variety of tasks under the supervision of registered nurses. Some of the tasks that you may be responsible for, in collaboration with the Registered Nurse, include caring for a group of patients, patient admission and discharge, medication administration, wound care, pre and post-operative care and liaising with medical staff and other health professionals. You will have the opportunity to continually develop, improve and promote best evidence-based practice.
