    Job Description:

    The Opportunity:

    In this crucial position, you will be responsible for overseeing the process design of large-scale water treatment plant projects, encompassing water treatment, wastewater management, desalination, and water reuse. Your role involves ensuring that value-engineered and robust solutions are integrated into conceptual, sustainable, and detailed designs.

    You will be expected to suggest innovative solutions, present your findings internally and externally, and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors. Collaboration with teams handling Civil & Structural, M&E design is essential to ensure process integrity and performance are upheld.

    Additionally, you will play a role in project delivery by supervising activities, managing project documentation, ensuring equipment selection meets specifications, and resolving any project-related issues.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and oversee the process design of large-scale water treatment plant projects, integrating value-engineered but robust solutions into conceptual, sustainable, and detailed designs.
    • Coordinate activities with other technical disciplines to ensure process integrity and performance are maintained.
    • Develop technical calculations, documents, and schedules, including process models like Biowin and membrane projections, procurement specifications, all aligned with project requirements.
    • Contribute to project delivery and commissioning phases by providing necessary process inputs when required.

    Required Skills and Competencies:

    • Prior experience in a similar role within a large matrix environment.
    • Hands-on experience in the process design of Water Treatment processes is a must.
    • Previous involvement in a design team or similar position.
    • Proficiency in working collaboratively in engineering design development using digital tools like BIM, preparing process calculations, specifications, and drawings.
