    Propel your banking career in this hands-on development opportunity in the Darling Downs region of Queensland for an Assistant Relationship Manager.

    Assist with the management of a portfolio of clients and provide specialised analytical banking services to our client's Agribusiness and Commercial customer base. This role is ideal for an analyst or aspiring accounting professional who is seeking to develop exposure to complex client structures whilst building their relationship management skills.


    • Develop & maintain strong customer relationships with a focus on service and solutions

    • Hands-on experience and mentoring with the view to progress to a Relationship Management role in the future

    • Find reward in assisting with the growth and development of an existing portfolio of customers

    YOU | You will be energised in talking to customers and have a desire to gain or further your knowledge in the banking industry. The successful candidate will ideally come from a Complex Retail, Commercial Banking or Accounting/Audit background and have previous credit/cash-flow analysis experience within the SME, Commercial or Agribusiness Banking sector. Ideally you will also possess:


    • Positive attitude and personable communicator

    • Effective relationship management skills

    • Previous exposure to commercial segments within the financial services industry desirable

    • A qualification in accounting, finance or business desirable

    • Previous financial analysis / credit assessment /or lending structure

    THE ROLE | You will have an opportunity to showcase your skills and to develop an in-depth understanding of the industry and related services. This role will allow you to develop exposure to a portfolio of clients whilst building your relationship management skills. Other key responsibilities include:


    • Researching and preparing credit submissions, deal structuring and financial analysis

    • Identifying risks presented by existing or new customers

    • Liaising with and providing solutions for an existing portfolio of clients

    • Working with varied stakeholders across the business

    • Assist in meeting revenue and compliance targets
