    Job Description

    The IT Operations and Support Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of reliable and stable IT infrastructure and software platforms in partnership with Nutreco Global IT.

    This position is responsible for maintaining and supporting all local business applications, serving as the first point of contact for IT matters locally, and leading IT-related projects.

    The role supports the execution of the Business IT strategy and 8Q Roadmap, interacting frequently with colleagues in the business, GITS, NCC, Corporate IT, and IT suppliers.

    Key accountabilities include:

    Site IT Accountabilities:

    • Maintaining local IT infrastructure, including asset management, phone support, printer maintenance, and network upgrades.
    • Supporting onboarding and offboarding of new employees, coordinating IT tasks, and ensuring data backup schedules are respected.
    • Deploying the Nutreco IT Policy, managing operational expenditures, and implementing risk management according to policy.
    • Participating in ad-hoc and scheduled out-of-hours IT activities as required.

    Application Accountabilities:

    • Providing application support and executing maintenance for local business applications, including access control, updates, integrations, and vendor liaison.
    • Creating, coordinating, and executing application user acceptance testing, completing systems modifications, and assessing system performance.
    • Collaborating with external suppliers for support and maintenance of local business applications.

    Program & Project Management:

    • Initiating new innovations and project proposals based on local requirements.
    • Managing local IT-related projects according to Nutreco standards and processes.
    • Contributing to local IT programs.

    Planning & Budget Control:

    • Contributing to Skretting Australia's strategy and budget cycle.
    • Implementing Business Improvement, IT Strategy, and the 8Q Roadmap.

    Environment/IT Systems:

    • Participating in GITS / Unisys / Business IT triangle meetings and travelling to plants and other locations for issue resolution.
    • Leading incident and change request support queues, meeting specific response times and deadlines.
    • Developing and executing system implementation plans and solutions.
    • Interacting with technology teams and business units as an in-house consultant.
    • Owning IT continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to IT requirements and delivery across business units.

    Key Performance Indicators:

    • Executing IT strategy in accordance with the 8Q roadmap.
    • Maintaining an efficient and productive infrastructure and desktop environment aligned with global IT standards.
    • Identifying and managing IT risk.
    • Delivering IT projects scoped and delivered in line with business requirements.
    • Completing annually review compliance documentation, risk assessments, SOPs, and testing the IT disaster recovery plan.
    • Engaging with stakeholders and collaborating within Skretting Australia and at Divisional and Nutreco levels.
    • Ensuring Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) compliance.
    • Delivering divisional performance targets and objectives, including safety and quality.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Degree/Diploma in Information Technology or 5+ years of experience in an IT environment in an operational role.
    • 5+ years' experience in a project delivery capacity ideally in a global corporate environment.
    • Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to collaborate and connect with local and global IT teams.
    • Current Driver's License.
