    Due to growing demand our client is seeking
    Diesel Fitter- Mechanic Technicians to join there hard working and dedicated team.

    As a Diesel Fitter- Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for all aspects of mechanical repair.


    Your role would include and not be limited to the following duties:
    Experience working on a variety of different brands of vehicles preferably Land Rover.

    • Diagnosing, repairing, fitting and overhauling diesel engines and plant equipment.
    • Maintaining, diagnosing, repairing and fitting hydraulic components of diesel–powered attachments such as pumps and injectors.
    • Dismantling, repairing and reassembling engines, transmissions, steering columns and other components.
    • Using oxy, electric, TIG and MIG welding techniques to fit, replace, assemble and repair metal parts including fabrication of parts, machinery and other equipment.
    • Diagnosing and repairing heavy vehicle fuel injections systems.
    • Testing repaired parts for proper performance.
    • Testing and repairing basic electrical circuits.
    • Using computers and specialized tools to diagnose and repair faults.
    • Inspecting vehicles and machinery for faults.
    • Following workplace Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) protocols.

    To be considered for this role you must have the following attributes:


    Relevant qualifications (at least Cert III) in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent, or a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Diesel Fitter - Mechanic.


    • Trained and have experience in Diesel Fuel injection repairs
    • Experience to disassemble, clean and inspect pumps and injectors
    • Repair, service and calibrate components.
    • Diagnostic Skills
    • Able to demonstrate efficient work practices.
    • Well developed communication and interpersonal skills
    • Hydraulics/ Pneumatic experience will be highly regarded

    This is a full-time position with salary range of
    $70,000 to $80,000 p.a based on experience + superannuation.
