Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant to join their rapidly growing organisation. This role is integral to the company, owning the Accounts Payable function and providing essential support to the core Finance team. What you'll do...

• Take ownership and manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable function.
• Manage accruals and prepayments efficiently.
• Post and maintain journals regularly.
• Complete Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns.

What you'll bring...

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role such as AP, Accounts Officer, Company Accountant or Bookkeeper.
• Tertiary education preferably a Bachelor's Degree, open to TAFE/bookkeeping qualifications.
• CA or CPA qualification highly desirable.
• Experience using Xero and migrating accounting software.
• Proven experience in improving accounting processes/systems.
