    The Role

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate and Senior Associate to join our busy Sydney Competition, Regulatory & Risk practice. You will be working within an existing team with a collegiate atmosphere and a supportive environment, working closely with senior practitioners as well as senior members of the Bar. You will have an opportunity to have day to day carriage of matters, a high degree of autonomy, and career development.

    We provide a broad scope of legal services across a range of industries however, our key focus areas are commercial litigation, insolvency, dispute resolution, shareholders disputes, general contractual disputes, and corporate regulatory investigations and prosecutions. We are currently involved in a number of high-profile insolvencies and commercial disputes, as well as regulatory investigations.

    Who We Are Looking For

    We are looking for candidates with between 3 and 8 years PQE who have demonstrable litigation and insolvency experience.

    Candidates should have the following abilities:

    • Deliver high-quality legal services commensurate with your level of experience;
    • Maintain and foster existing client relationships;
    • Support Partners / Special Counsel and other practice group members to achieve group goals involving delivery of legal services;
    • Participate in professional development activities when required;
    • Litigation experience including: briefing counsel, drafting Court Documents including pleadings, affidavits, applications, and corresponding with opposing counsel, Courts and Tribunals
    • Be able to clearly articulate technical arguments;
    • Research complex legal matters and provide concise and accurate summaries and advice to senior practitioners and clients
