    Position Title: Radiographer

    Employment Type: 12 month Max-Term (Full-time)

    Hours per week: 35

    Position Grade: Radiographer Level 2, Year 1-5

    Salary: $73, $101,211.59 base salary per annum

    About the role: We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the Medical Imaging Department . A highly motivated radiographer with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team. Our progressive and innovative team offers development opportunities for our staff and a caring environment for the delivery of high quality patient centred care. The successful applicant(s) will be expected to be able to:

    • Demonstrate independent and significant professional knowledge and judgement to acquire and exhibit competency in all appropriate clinical tasks.
    • Begin to take an active part in multidisciplinary teams and gain experience in the more complex modalities of the department, including QI/QA programs, WHS & R issues and Radiation Safety.
    • Is expected to provide a high level of patient care and management with an understanding of patient needs and psychology, and continue to develop their knowledge regarding work place safety issues (e.g. manual handling, Infection control, etc).
    • Demonstrates significant ongoing commitment to continuing professional education (CPD) and actively participates in undergraduate student education and departmental in-service lectures.
    • Participate in 24 hour roster including on-call work.

    About you: We are seeking a skilled and energetic Radiographer who possess a passion for person centred care.

    Selection Criteria

    • Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent's Health Australia
    • Bachelor of Science Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent. Current AHPRA registration. Current New South Wales EPA Radiation License.
    • Previous clinical experience within a medical imaging environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Ability to motivate and inspire staff and work as a team to achieve organisational outcomes.
    • Commitment to best practice and its delivery.
    • Proven aptitude in complex problem solving and decision making.
    • Proven high level communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
    • High level of computer literacy.
