Position
As the Health Safety & Environment Manager for supply chain, you will report directly to the Head of Supply Chain with dotted line to Head of Safety, Health & Environment, you will champion safety, support chain of responsibility with a risk-based approach for the business and solutions orientated. This is a leadership role working closely with key stakeholders over multiple sites, you will influence a strong culture of driving implementation of efficient HSEQ systems, risk management and proactive coaching across the business with regular communication with senior leaders. You will support the Safety Specialists at each site in delivering initiatives and projects. The purpose of this role is to embed change and progressive safety initiatives with a risk-based approach. This is a role with clear leadership enabling the business to progress.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety required or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in managing health, safety, environment at either a national or regional level across a diverse complex organisation.
• A practical approach with strong knowledge of legislative requirements in safety and chain of responsibility.
• The ability to drive change and performance at a national level and to initiate and develop solutions to complex issues.
• Ability to problem solve, use judgement and make appropriate decisions.
• Demonstrated change management skills through the use of systems improvement and engaging with stakeholders.
