    This global biopharmaceutical company has a product portfolio and pipeline that is dedicated to new and innovative techniques in rare disease therapies. The key driver of their success is partnering with their healthcare partners in identifying patients with rare conditions and provide life changing medicine to extend patients' lives. This is a truly exciting time for this company as they prepare for multiple product launches over the coming months. Due to growth in the business, they are searching for a proven Senior Market Access Manager to join their Commercial Operations team. Reporting to the Director, your responsibilities will include:

    • assisting in developing the health economic and reimbursement strategy
    • taking the lead in local assessments for global projects, and create market access plans for both new and existing products
    • preparing funding submissions based on clinical and economic evidence
    • providing clinical and economic arguments to enhance the product's value proposition when responding to tenders
    • regularly assessing the pricing of products, monitoring reimbursement and improving commercial models
    • collaborating with local and global cross functional teams

    The successful candidate should have:

    • tertiary qualifications in a health-related field such as medicine, pharmacology, pharmacy, nursing, science or public health
    • completed post-graduate training in epidemiology, biostatistics, and health economics
    • sound experience in market access roles in the Australian pharmaceutical markets
    • experience in national dossier submission and pricing negotiation
    • excellent quantitative and analytical skills
    • strong capability in modelling
    • strong influencing ability as well as communication and clinical appraisal skills
    • exceptional ability to summarize complex clinical information into concise and well-written reports

    Candidates with a background from a specialty focussed business will be highly regarded however this is not essential.
