    CELOTTI WORKFORCE is currently on the lookout for a Civil Site Supervisor to join our valued civil client, for work in Gladstone, QLD 4680.

    Our civil contracting client are experts who specialise in road construction, civil infrastructure, bulk earthworks, marine construction, as well as structural and civil concrete projects.

    Their repertoire spans across a diverse spectrum of civil projects encompassing roadworks, bridges, car parks, earthworks, dams, pipelines, landscapes and ports.

    This role involves (but is not limited to):

    • Develop effective relationships with internal and external (subcontractors, workers, unions etc.) stakeholders.
    • Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
    • Represent the Group professionally and ethically.
    • Comply with and ensure safe work practices are carried out by all legislative requirements, SEQ systems, policies and procedures.
    • Effectively assist with the safety performance and subcontractors to ensure safe work practices are carried out by all legislative requirements, SEQ requirements and SWMS.
    • Comply with and ensure project works completed are by the Group Quality.
    • Management Policies, Plans and Procedures.
    • Support to lead and motivate the project and site teams to foster positive team dynamics, high levels of engagement and work outcomes.
    • Assist the site team in effectively managing the planning and scheduling of works and the progress of works against the program.
    • Understand the project drawings, and specifications and undertake scope reviews.
    • Responsible for assisting the Site Manager in site's daily operations
    • Ensure that all statutory requirements (i.e. local council, EPA) are adhered to on-site at all times.
    • Attend subcontractor site meetings and report on specific matters when applicable.
    • Assist in the planning and development of access and movement with the Site Manager of all site resources and effectively manage site logistics.
    • Assist in the review and preparation of Subcontractor scopes of work
    • Monitor and report on subcontractor works, trade costs and any variations.
    • Ensure external plant hire dockets, delivery dockets, internal plant, day labour and labour hire and deliver daily to the Contracts Administrator.

    A successful candidate will be experienced and professional with a positive attitude. You will also have the bCELOelow:

    • Experience with mentoring and managing the performance of site-based team
    • Previous experience in working within a highly controlled work environment such as TMR works.
    • Previous accountability for budgeting and cost management.
    • Certificate IV in Civil Construction Supervision
    • Understanding of plant management and coordination
    • Experience in the operation of earthworks plant and equipment
    • Desire to take on new challenges and think innovatively to find solutions
    • Civil concrete structure experience.
    • Ability to assist in estimating.
