    ARAS seeks a qualified Intake Worker for a full-time or part-time position in aged care.

    The Role

    The Intake Worker is the key point of contact for consumers and stakeholders through telephone, text, and email interactions.

    The role involves gathering relevant information for referrals and working collaboratively with a team to provide support and assistance to consumers and their representatives.

    The Organisation

    ARAS is the South Australian component of the National Aged Care Advocacy Program, funded by the Australian Department of Health.

    Employment Requirements

    • A qualification in humanitarian/social justice is highly valued.
    • Previous experience as an intake worker is highly regarded.
    • Familiarity with aged care services is essential.
    • National Police Clearance (less than 12 months old) is mandatory.
    • COVID-19 vaccination and current Influenza vaccination are required.
