      About the role: Exciting opportunity for a Garden Maintenance Officer to join our team at Calvary The Mariner Your previous garden/landscape experience, health and safety focus, and appreciation for excellent customer service will see you succeed in this exciting opportunity. Key Responsibilities
      • Attend to duties that improve the day to day lives of our residents and employees and ensure a safe and clean living and working environment.
      • General garden maintenance tasks, such as lawn mowing, weeding, and hedge trimming.
      • Various tasks as requested by the Maintenance Supervisor or relevant manager including preventative and reactive maintenance of site and equipment, inspections, liaising with consultants, gardening and landscaping.
      • Ensure a resident centered approach
      What you bring
      • Possess 2-3 years previous experience in a relevant trade industry.
      • Some prior maintenance experience in aged care/ lifestyle village/caravan park/retirement village will be highly regarded
      • Good working knowledge of Fire and Emergency protocols, and regulations around essential services.
      • Demonstrated experience in managing contractors, including JSA's/SWMS, SLA's, work orders.
      • A high level of commitment, integrity, honesty and trustworthiness.
      • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
      • Gardening/Landscaping experience
