    The Role:

    As State Manager, you'll spearhead strategic development for NSW/ACT, aligning with Assetlink's overarching business plan. Your role will be pivotal in embedding a robust safety culture, driving operational excellence, and nurturing client relationships.

    What you will be doing:

    • Embed the behavioural Safety Culture - instil the belief that every incident can be prevented
    • Lead the NSW/ACT operational team, with a focus on metric driven decisions as well a strong performance culture
    • Develop a clear, articulated strategy for NSW/ACT in alignment with the Assetlink business plan in collaboration with the GM – Operations
    • Own the P&L and NSW/ACT growth plans
    • Develop and manage the relationships with the key senior stakeholders with our major clients
    • Work closely with the Regional Safety Manager to help shift practices and safety behaviours from dependant to interdependent
    • Work effectively with the relevant management team to successfully manage the key operational metrics
    • Build a strong relationship with the HR Business Partner to collaborate on strategies and a focus on a performance culture

    You will have:

    • Experience as a General Manager or State Manager - min 5 years, leading a large workforce essential
    • Service industry experience in related / relevant services industries - ideal
    • Experience in Cleaning and/or Security services at a senior management level - advantage
    • Prior track record in building and developing a team, driving culture and motivating your extended team
    • Strong commercial acumen with proven results in delivering strong profit improvements
    • Ability to adeptly manage client relationships and maintain the highest professional standards
    • Integrity, personal responsibility, initiative and the ability to energise, persuade and influence others
    • Superior influencing skills, using innovation and teamwork to achieve results
    • Ability to think broadly, create a shared vision and embrace change as an opportunity
    • Can-do attitude with high energy and resilience
