    Description
  • The base hourly rate *$37 - $41 + super + Penalties
  • Early finishes, 2pm Monday – Thursday & 11:30am Friday

    • Due to an increase in workload, FLSmidth is looking for experienced boilermakers to join the team.

    Role Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, repair, assemble items and products in accordance with approved procedures and drawings.
  • Assist with set up of product to be fabricated, repaired, assembled, and installed.
  • Carry out workshop and onsite duties as directed.
  • Report need for repairs and maintenance of workshop equipment.
  • Ensure all tools are maintained and used in a safe manner.
  • Observe and maintain a high level of safety at all times.
  • Comply with all company OHS and quality policies and procedures.
  • Use correct Personal Protection Equipment at all times in the workshop.
  • Report non conformances and assist in resolution.
  • Comply with instructions from supervisor.
  • Maintain general tidiness in work area.
  • Assist in the training of apprentices.

    • What you bring

  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and customer service orientation
  • Boilermaker with trade background, ideally with experience in fixed plant equipment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team
  • Current drivers' license
  • Ability to read engineering drawing
  • Dogman's ticket would be highly regarded
