    The Business:
    My client is a leading manufacturer in the condiments category and are seeking a State Sales Manager to manager their Foodservice division across Vic & TAS. Focusing on developing strong business relationships across the Foodservice channels, with a focus on HORECA, particularly pub, club, cafe, hotel groups and distributors. Lead a team of 2 BDM's across Vic and help this business drive growth.

    The Role:

    • Drive & build customer relationships across Vic through face to face meetings.
    • Build trust with customer base through demonstrating product knowledge and broader product and service value including tastings and menu pairing guidance
    • Develop a partnership approach to your customers and build your sales success through win/win solutions by understanding your customers' requirements.
    • Driving growth in your distribution partnerships through pull through initiatives.
    • Build competitor & industry knowledge to identify opportunities and build/grow commercial sales in the territory.

    Background:

    • Background selling within the Foodservice Industries would be advantageous.
    • Experience working specifically with end user groups in HORECA and the big 4 Food distributors (PFD, Bidfood, Country Wide and NAFDA) would also be desirable
    • Self motivated, high energy and a positive, problem solving attitude.
    • The ability to work autonomously whilst also being a team player.
