- Defence and remediation projects
- Projects in the ACT/SNSW region
- 10k car allowance
- Assist management to encourage a healthy, safe, and environmentally responsible working culture amongst personnel
- Create and implement of HSEQ documentation for a diverse range of projects
- Coach, advise and educate site personnel of legislative requirements and changes to comply with company procedures
- Administer incident and hazard reporting processes and actions as per company procedures
- Conduct HSEQ site inspections and audits,
- Coach site teams on effective delivery of pre-start meetings and Toolbox meetings
- Coordinate HSEQ training programs including the maintenance of competency standards
- Analyse HSEQ performance, reporting, system updates
- Maintain the company Integrated Management System to the 45001, 9001, 14001 and OFSC accreditation levels
- 3-5 years previous experience in a HSE advisor role, must have construction experience but does not necessarily need experience on Defence sites (although this would help).
- An essential qualification in Health & Safety, or equivalent
- Experience in creation and reviewing SWMS, JHA's conducting Audits
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance
- Confident communication with the ability to recognise the essential role of every employee, subcontractor, and site leader in delivering safe work outcomes on our projects
- Have an understanding of Quality Management processes
- Flexibility to travel to regional areas of NSW
- The successful candidate will need to pass a police check and be eligible for a DCAC pass
