    About the role

    Reporting to the National Health & Wellbeing Manager this role focuses on formulating and overseeing ongoing complex RTW plans for injured employees. It also provides strategic case management of workers compensation claims.

    Joining our new Automated Distribution Centre at Kemps Creek; you'll be part of a facility that delivers outstanding service level fulfillment to our stores. Critical to our site's success is our people who enable seamless operational delivery.


    What you'll be doing


    • Provide specialist case management to drive return to work outcomes for Injured Team Members.

    • Liaise with Treating Medical Practitioners and Coles Team Cover (CTC) Case Managers to develop holistic and strategic case management plan for each claim.

    • Provide coaching and support to the site management team to deliver excellence in workers compensation, injury management and fitness for work procedures at the site.

    • Ensure all workers compensation files are maintained as per legislative requirements.

    • Providing guidance & support in early intervention & prevention programs.

    • Support Leadership Teams on National Projects to deliver the Health & Well Being Plan

    • Assisting in the Delivery of the Training and Upskilling Programs


    Good things you'll need

    With a minimum of 3 years' experience in workplace rehabilitation, you'll be a subject matter expert and have experience in Workers Compensation legislation.

    You'll also have:


    • Clear demonstration of ability to incorporate health & wellbeing requirements while considering commercially viable and practical solutions.

    • Experience working in self-insurance

    • Excellent understanding of injury mechanism and recovery

    • Ability to influence a range of stakeholders and work in a dynamic environment with Team Members form diverse backgrounds

    • Tertiary qualification in a Health Practitioner discipline (Ie Bachelor of Science)

    • Experience in workers compensation related role within Supply Chain, Logistics and or Manufacturing
