    Job Title: Plant Mechanic

    Cadia, NSW, AU, 2800

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Mechanic to join our team at WesTrac. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and repair of CAT machines on a customer site in Cadia.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on CAT machines, including R3000 Loaders and 777 Off-Highway Trucks
    • Ensure all work is completed to Caterpillar standards
    • Maintain a safety-first approach in all aspects of work

    Requirements:

    • Australia recognised Mechanical Trade qualification
    • Previous mine site experience
    • Unrestricted Drivers Licence
    • Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment
    • Solutions focused mindset and ability to adapt to changing requirements
    • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent diagnostic and repair skills

    Remuneration: Annual earnings from $107,000 - $144,000

    Roster: 7/7 (7 days on, 7 off, 7 nights on, 7 off) 12.5 hour shifts
