Job Summary:

The Remote Maintenance Planner is a key role that oversees the maintenance planning and scheduling processes on targeted sites within a region. Located at one of our Quarry/Plant sites in regional NSW, this position is responsible for leading and managing the maintenance planning and scheduling processes on our sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide detailed job plans: Ensure safe and efficient execution of maintenance jobs by developing detailed job plans.
• Develop new maintenance procedures: Work with site maintenance team members to create new maintenance procedures for standard jobs.
• Manage work notifications and backlog: Oversee the management of work notifications and work order backlog.
• Facilitate scheduling meetings: Organize weekly scheduling meetings with Production and maintenance Supervisors to discuss schedules and priorities.
• Develop schedules: Create weekly and daily schedules based on production unit priorities and business environment to optimize resource use.
• Publish schedules: Publish and update daily and weekly schedules to affected work groups.
• Adjust schedules: Collaborate with site maintenance lead to adjust schedules as needed due to changing production priorities or available resources.
• Monitor schedule compliance: Track weekly schedule compliance and publish results across-site.
• Plan shutdowns: Follow a planning and scheduling process for major shutdowns, including Gantt charts, role definitions, shutdown risk identification, and controls.

About This Role:

• Teamwork: Act as a team member when required on continuous improvement projects to eliminate defects and improve maintenance costs per tonne and plant reliability.
• Maintenance data management: Work with maintenance team to build and maintain EPL (Equipment Parts List) information in JDE and maintain quality of work order information in JDE.
