    About the role

    As a hands-on Data & Analytics Lead, you'll oversee strategy implementation, champion tool adoption, manage internal and external Analysts, and ensure project success. Managing our talented D&A internal and external team members will mean ensuring they have the support and resources they need to excel. You'll perform demand and resource management, ensuring that our projects are delivered on time and within budget.

    The opportunity

    As a key knowledge holder in the D&A space and as a member of our Technical Management team, you'll actively contribute to the development and execution of our D&A roadmap, ensuring that our solutions align with our organisational goals.

    This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects that spans across multiple technologies in SAP and Microsoft.

    As we transition to S/4HANA you'll have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping how data & analytics can be better positioned to provide strategic insights to drive business value.

    Key responsibilities

    As our Data & Analytics Lead, you'll harness your developed skills in SAP BW Data Warehouse administration, including the Microsoft Azure Analytics Toolset, to ensure the security and performance of our data infrastructure are second to none. Your expertise in data extractions and interfaces will be pivotal in seamlessly integrating data from SAP and other systems, while your prowess in data modelling will bring clarity and insights to complex datasets.

    With your experience in creating analytical reports and dashboards using SAP Analytics Cloud and Power BI, you'll transform raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. Your strong data engineering background across various toolsets, coupled with your adeptness in data management & governance, will set the foundation for a data-driven culture within UGL.

    About you

    • Strong data engineering experience across various toolsets, including SAP and Microsoft.
    • Extensive experience in SAP BW/4HANA administration, configuration, development, and support, or SAP Datasphere including security and performance tuning.
    • Expertise in data extraction/interfaces from/to SAP and other systems, data modelling, and creating analytical reports/dashboards using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Power BI.
    • Experience in AZURE Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, SQL administration, configuration, development, and support.
    • Knowledgeable in data management & governance, with experience collaborating with business stakeholders.
