    EVENT AND EXHIBITION FREIGHT COORDINATOR

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic Events Services team. You will be responsible for coordinating the logistics for client and exhibitor freight. You will work across a variety of events including exhibitions, large corporate conferences, and live events.

    • Receiving, receipting, storing and dispatch of client and exhibitor freight.
    • Liaising with clients and exhibitors about freight movements and storage requirements.
    • Planning freight storage and working with other teams to ensure building access, deliveries and coordinate freight movements.
    • Maintaining documentation to record freight movements, and for accounting purposes.

    • Safety will be extremely important to you.
    • You will have exceptional communication skills, a focus on customer service, and enjoy working in a role where you can show initiative.
    • You will have experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
    • You will hold a valid Forklift licence (or be willing and able to obtain a licence), and currently hold a valid a QLD driver's licence.
    • You will enjoy working a roster which includes weekends and evenings, to meet the needs of your clients.
    • You enjoy working as part of a team and contributing to team results.
    • You will be committed to living and working in Cairns.
