The Senior Cloud Security Engineer will tackle some challenging and diverse projects.
The role involves extensive work in AWS, designing and reviewing complex architectures, and implementing advanced security measures.

Given their various projects, you'd have the chance to work on anything from standard AWS services to more unconventional setups.

Experience with cloud services, particularly AWS, and your ability to handle multifaceted security challenges would be invaluable.
A significant part of the job also involves responding to dynamic security situations.
This includes risk assessments of different architectures and managing responses to security incidents using tools like Crowd Strike.

They're integrating Cloud Posture Management into their pipeline, so insights on automating responses and maintaining these tools would greatly benefit the team.

The role isn't just about technical know-how.

They're keen on someone who can proactively insert themselves into projects, waving red flags where necessary and influencing design decisions.

They are looking for someone who can think on their feet and communicate effectively with different stakeholders would be crucial.

Working arrangements:

the role is based in Sydney and the team is in the office from 1-2 times a week, sometimes less.

There isn't a set policy.
Demonstrate you can deliver, and you get more flexibility.

If you are based outside of Sydney, Australia, you'll have the opportunity to work primarily remotely, with a quarterly office visit to attend work events and build relationships with the team.

Key Duties:
