    About the Role

    We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing Housing Pathways team. This team strives to provide exceptional service and support with a customer centric focus whilst supporting with housing challenges for our customers. It operates in a challenging environment given the current housing climate and will provide excellent growth and learning opportunities for the successful candidate. You will be joining a team of varied experience that takes a collaborative approach to innovation and continual improvement.

    This role is being offered on a full time, ongoing basis and will be based at our Cannington Office.

    You'll also experience the work/life balance that comes with working a 9-day fortnight, with a dedicated and fixed day off every second week. You will still receive the remuneration of a full-time employee in addition to the ability to salary sacrifice.     What we're looking for

    We are looking for an individual with a genuine passion for Housing who is highly motivated and eager to assist our customers to improve their outcomes. Absolutely essential is an ability to work autonomously as part of a decentralised team, you must also be approachable and able to develop a positive rapport with a wide range of customers and staff. You will have exemplary communication skills and be equally comfortable interacting verbally, in writing or in person one on one or in larger group settings. Maintaining detailed, professional and accurate records will be a key requirement of the role.

    Also critical is your ability to become a valuable contributor to a small but growing team. This will require you to be reliable, flexible, have excellent problem-solving skills, be precise with a keen eye for detail, willingly accept responsibility to see things through, show initiative and be able to draw knowledge from others.

    You will have prior experience in a crisis, transitional, social housing or property management related role and demonstrated experience working with vulnerable people of varied backgrounds who have complex needs. Preferably you will have some form of qualification or certification in Social Services, Community Development, Property Management or similar.

    The key to success in this role will be your ability to provide excellent "customer-first" service whilst quickly learning to work with our systems and become a valuable member of the team.

    You will also be required to hold a current driver's licence.

    Remuneration

    A competitive base salary in the range of $87,000 - $95,000 will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience. As Workskil Australia is a public benevolent institution, we can also offer a portion of the salary through tax effective salary packaging.
