Are you a Leading Hand with previous knowledge and experience in construction and maintenance activities, particularly roads, drainage and concrete works looking for a new opportunity or someone ready to take that next step to progress their career? Our Civil Operations team has the job for you based at our Paget Depot on a permanent full-time basis with a 9-day fortnight.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Extensive knowledge and experience in construction and maintenance activities, particularly roads, drainage and concrete works with a Certificate III in Civil Construction
• Experience in successfully leading, supervising and motivating teams
• Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings
• High level of client service paired with good oral and written communication skills
• Current QLD 'C' Class Open Drivers Licence
• Current General Construction Safety White Card
• Current Traffic Management Implementation (TMI) qualifications
• Plant Operation Certificates of Competencies e.g. Roller, Loader, Backhoe, Grader will be highly regarded
• Current QLD Heavy Rigid 'HR' Class Licence will be highly regarded

Salary & Benefits Package:

• Annual base salary from $59,319 ($1140 per week) plus allowances as applicable
• Up to 18% superannuation (conditions apply)
