    Fortescue are presently looking for a Principal Mining Operations Analysis to join the Decarb team

    Key Responsibilities
    • Help develop and lead a team of Operations Analysts with decarb expertise who are able to execute decarbonisation projects both internally and for external metals/mining companies
    • Work collaboratively with Fortescue Technical Service teams to execute techno-economically feasible projects, ensuring seamless delivery and continuity in operations
    • Help lead problem solving and solution design for integrating zero-emission inputs within large metals and mining assets
    • Helping to build out the service offering in Operational execution for green transitions on behalf of Fortescue
    • Build expertise in hybrid/renewable powered operations and related ops/mine planning
    Qualifications and Experience
    • 5+ years in Mine Planning / Mine Operations with exposure to Decarbonisation projects
    • Robust understanding of Mine Operating systems or Mine Planning systems
    • 2+ years plus managing small teams to deliver parts of operations projects
    • Degree or Graduate Degree qualified in relevant area of Mining Engineering, Energy Management or Sustainability Systems
    • Ability to effectively collaborate with a range of stakeholders across Fortescue
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
