    About the Role
    This is a Fixed Term Position until July 2025

    As the Senior Program Analyst to the Director of Flood Recovery Operations, your role entails administering the program to restore Victoria's road network post the October 2022 flood and storm event.

    Additionally, you'll support state-level recovery priorities and manage initiatives, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
    You'll also aid in managing financial and risk deliverables in line with government and departmental policies.
    To be successful in the role, the candidate will demonstrate strong negotiation and influencing skills, fostering partnerships with stakeholders.
    They will excel in program and project management, reporting progress effectively.
    Their communication skills span diverse audiences, including government submissions.
    They will possess government acumen and engage strategically to support DTP's activities while managing potential reputation risks.
    Further, they will be accountable for the following responsibilities:
    Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders across DTP and other agencies.

    Proactively lead analysis of funded initiatives, understand and respond to critical issues that impact project and program delivery, community expectations, and the department's external reputation.

    Program administration of the Department's flood recovery program; supporting the Director Flood Recovery Operations work with internal and external delivery partners.

    Lead the Department's work across the State's recovery sector, supporting meeting requirements and reporting as required.
    Provide accurate, immediate, and authoritative advice to Transport Services Executive and various stakeholders.

    Assist delivery areas in the development of scoping and delivery documentation to take through the Departments governance and investment lifecycle processes.

    Develop briefings and requests based on a thorough understanding of Transport Services.
    This includes preparing briefing materials, editing written materials, and tracking and following up on actions from meetings.

    Proactively support emerging priorities with an agility to shift focus to respond to reactive issues and risks to support requirements of management.

    Qualifications and Experience
    A relevant tertiary degree in business, engineering or public policy or extensive relevant experience.
    Experience in program management or as a cost controller would be beneficial.
