    Aviation Capability Group; Operations Support Command; Regional Services; Brisbane The Aviation Capability Group is experiencing significant growth with the addition of 5 new King Air 360 and 2 brand new, first in country Gulfstream G280 Aircraft.

    Due to this growth, we are seeking experienced First Officers for our G280 aircraft to fly multi crew operations, domestically and internationally utilising instrument flight rules (IFR), for dignitary transport, organ retrieval, correctional, police and other government support tasks.

    The successful candidate will assist the Pilot in b Command ensuring safety, compliance and maintaining an organised and cooperative multi crew environment.

    Key Accountabilities Your Key Accountabilities will include: Perform the role of First Officer on multi crew operations, domestically and Ninternationally utilising instrument flight rules (IFR), for dignitary transport, organ retrieval, correctional, police and other government support tasks as directed by the Head of Flight Operations (HOFO).

    Assist the PIC in the safe and efficient conduct of all flight operations.

    Maintain compliance and carry out all duties for flight and participate in training in accordance with the Civil Aviation Safety Act, its Regulations and Orders and the Organisation's Exposition as a First Officer.

    Maintain a contemporary working knowledge of international flight standard regulations and requirements.
    Maintain a high standard of crew coordination and cooperation in a multi crew environment as a First Officer.

    Develop and maintain positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver safe, timely and responsive frontline aviation services.

    Perform a range of nominated support duties which assist in the operations of the organisation.

    Mandatory requirements:
    Licence & Ratings Australian Commercial Pilots Licence (CPL)

    Multi Engine Command Instrument Rating Minimum 1500 hours total time Minimum 1000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC)Certification & Documentation Hold or be eligible to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)Current Class 1 Aviation Medical Hold a current Australian Passport Highly desirable:

    Licence & Ratings Australian Air Transport Pilots Licence (ATPL)Minimum 100 hours Night PICMinimum 400 hours Multi-Engine PICMinimum 100 hours Turbine PICType Ratings G280 Type Rating C208 (or similar) Experience Special Conditions Prior to appointment, the successful applicant will be required to complete an initial psychological assessment to determine their suitability to perform the inherent occupational requirements of the role.

    In compliance with CASA Drug and Alcohol Management Plan requirements, the preferred applicant will be required to undergo pre-employment testing and participate in the QGAir Drug and Alcohol Management Program.

    The preferred applicant will be required to undertake temporary touring duties at any base operated by the Aviation Capability Group.

    The preferred applicant must be available for rostered duty within one hour of notification of required flight.
    The successful applicant must comply with the organisations Drug and Alcohol Management Plan.
    Applications will remain current for 12 months.
