    Job Title: Mental Health Clinician

    Location: Moonee Ponds, Based in the Royal Melbourne Hospital Mental Health Services (RMH MHS)

    About the Role

    We are seeking a dynamic and team-oriented clinician to deliver excellent interventions and provide a community-based mental health service.

    This exciting opportunity is based in our Older Adult Mental Health Program, where you will work closely with Consultant Psychiatrists, clinical and medical teams to provide high-quality care.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide psychiatric assessment and treatment formulation in consultation with Consultant Psychiatrists and clinical teams.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive recovery and treatment plans in collaboration with consumers, family members, and carers.
    • Deliver evidence-based treatment and interventions that support older adults with complex mental health needs and their families.
    • Coordinate and deliver intensive clinical intervention and treatment to consumers in the community.

    About You

    To be successful in this role, you will have:

    • Experience as a mental health clinician in either a community or inpatient setting, delivering evidence-based treatment and interventions.
    • Knowledge of the issues faced by older adults with a mental illness and a keen interest in this area.
    • Well-developed communication skills.
    • A commitment to undertake professional development related to the role.
    • The ability to work a rotating roster.
