Position overview
The ANU School of Engineering is seeking casual sessional academics (tutors) for Semester

Individuals with experience and expertise in the field of Engineering who are interested in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses are encouraged to apply.

As a casual sessional academic you will be involved in the delivery of CECC courses with support, guidance and direction from the Course Convenor and School staff.

You will work both independently and as part of a team to inspire active and evidence-based learning in our courses as well as motivate students to achieve their best and help them meet the stated learning outcomes.

A Tutor shall have qualifications and/or experiences recognised by the institution as appropriate for the relevant discipline area.

If you have the ability to engage, educate and enjoy working as part of a team, we would like to hear from you.

Tutoring qualifications are highly regarded.

If you have not already completed specific tutor training run by CECC, you may have the opportunity to participate in this professional development during the semester with both online and offline delivery arrangements.

You will be notified with the training arrangements by the school if you become selected.
ANU casual sessional academic positions are non-ladder positions.

Information on salary rates is available of applications will begin after the closing date and will continue until all positions have been filled.

Applications may be used to fill casual sessional academic roles over the course of the Semester.
Preparation for teaching in Semester 1 commences generally in or prior to O-week, depending on individual course arrangements.
