    The Opportunity

    An opportunity exists for highly motivated and experienced MC Driver to join our Metro division. If you are wanting to utilise your MC licence but want to sleep in your own bed every night. This is the Job for you.

    To be successful, you will have:

    • Hold a current, valid MC licence.
    • Previous Multi Combination and Linehaul experience
    • Possession of a current and valid Worksafe High Risk Forklift ('LF') ticket preferred but not essential
    • Be fully conversant with, and committed to fatigue management regulations
    • The ability to work effectively in a team and autonomously
    • Exceptional work ethic, reliability and punctuality
    • The capacity to work flexible times and work away from home

    Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Changeover of Trailer hook-ups
    • Pre-start checks and vehicle logs
    • Ensuring all practices are to OHS standards
    • Constant monitoring of product temperature, and use of recordings to back up paperwork
    • Completing essential paperwork relative to deliveries
    • Completing Fatigue Management Logs
    • Electric/Manual Pallet Jack handling and hand unloads
    • Read drawings, Job cards and related documents specific to work details
    • Other duties not listed but will be required
