    The Role

    As an Investment Analyst you will support the investment and portfolio management operations of the IFM Debt Investment (DI) team - focussing on Australian Diversified Credit investment strategies. Your role will involve credit analysis / due diligence of public and private debt investment opportunities with a focus on structured credit. Any 'asset backed' style of lending or investment / securitisation and other forms of asset-based lending.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Preparation and presentation of credit memorandum / investment proposal to IFM Debt Investment Committee
    • End-to-end transaction management including working with borrowers / issuers, arrangers, advisors, and legal counsel through to financial close.
    • Review of issuer monthly reporting as against covenants and initial investment assumptions
    • Management of maintenance requests and amendments to existing transactions
    • Delivery of ad-hoc presentations to investors
    Your Background and Experience
    • Tertiary education in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or Accounting CFA or studying towards CFA/FINSIA or CA/CPA or other post graduate qualifications viewed favourably.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with financial modelling capability, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Two years plus of industry experience typically obtained in a commercial bank analyst team or rating agency environment with relevant credit and debt transaction management experience.
    • Experience in structured credit / securitisation is highly regarded.
    • Self-starter and motivated to attain company goals aligned with divisional objectives.
