    About the role

    We are delighted to call applications for an experienced Plant Supervisor to lead our on-site Team based at our Ulan Amex and Gasser manufacturing plant near Mudgee, NSW. Not only will you be responsible for the team's performance but you will also be responsible for plant and ancillary equipment in accordance with our service level agreements, corporate and regulatory standards. You also will be responsible for the implementation of Orica SHES requirement.

    The roster will be 5/2 Monday to Friday.

    Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

    • Leading and motivating our onsite team to ensure safe and efficient manufacturing of explosive products and precursors.
    • Providing analytical/decision support to the Territory Manager on continuous improvement planning for decreasing operational costs;
    • Recruiting, training and retaining employees; and
    • Scheduling the onsite team's daily activities to meet customer requirements and ensuring proper management of site including raw material ordering and preventative maintenance.
    • Managing EPA and other regulatory compliance and reporting that is associated with a manufacturing facility.
