    About the role

    We're seeking a Data & Insights Analyst to provide stakeholders with insights on revenue assurance and reports across Transurban's assets and tolling retailers. This role will support BAU activities as well as upcoming work on the West Gate Tunnel Project (WGTP).

    Day-to-day, you will:

    • Work in an Agile team environment to support the on-going operation and delivery of key business reports, such as: Monthly management reports, Asset revenue assurance reports, Compliance & Tolling audit reports.
    • Analyse variances on key indicators & trends for each asset/region/market, extract business insights to help inform and guide management decision making.
    • Continue to drive business improvements with the insights and information from analysing report's result
    • Provide specialist knowledge of both business and technology systems to respond to operational incident management from identification, assessing impact, evaluate options to post-incident retro.
    • Provision of reporting and analysis service to other business areas (as required) including within the Asset Operations, Customer Operations, Business Development and Accounting & Finance.
    • Demonstrate effective communication to a broad spectrum of stakeholders at an appropriate level of detail - including detailed technical discussions, as well as an ability to translate complex concepts into a meaningful business context.
    • Overtime, develop and become a source of centralised knowledge covers the full breadth of tolling operations - ranging from roadside technology, back-office billing system to customer experience management solution.

    This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:

    • A passion for using data and reports to facilitate an understanding of the business and customer behaviour, with extensive experience in using data to deliver business needs.
    • Advanced SQL experience with well-developed understanding of relational data warehouse, including ability to interrogate data, sorting and processing large volume of complex information
    • Experience with Data ETL tools – Lavastorm, Data360, Alteryx, Qlik, Matillion, Dataiku, Knime, etc...
    • Using of Tableau/Power BI for data visualistion and reporting
    • Prior exposure to Snowflake, Oracle, AWS Redshift, T-SQL language and ETL Stored procedure will be advantageous
    • Excellent communication and well-developed stakeholder management skills
    • Ability to think creatively, have a sense of curiosity and a growth mind-set
