    Description

    The role

  • Providing functional production support to financial systems users
  • Undertaking analysis and providing solutions to users
  • Running reports as required
  • Support system patching and upgrades by planning, creating and undertaking user testing
  • Providing advice and guidance to end users, managers and stakeholders on issues related to the Finance systems
  • Developing procedure documents, maintaining system documentation and issue logs
  • Participating on system projects
  • Meeting Finance System team's response turnaround SLAs
  • Managing system access for new users and conducting audits
  • Addressing any audit issues

  • About you

  • Customer service experience gained in a systems helpdesk or finance role
  • Systems accounting experience
  • Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills including liaising with stakeholders and customers
  • Planning and organisational skills to ensure tasks are completed within timeframes
  • Problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills for investigating and resolving customer or system issues and improving processes
  • Self-motivated to develop in the role and increase knowledge through on-the-job experience, working collaboratively and sharing knowledge with others
  • Holding or progressing to a tertiary qualification in accounting/finance, and/or IT to undertake this role is not mandatory but would be viewed favourably
