- Providing functional production support to financial systems users
- Undertaking analysis and providing solutions to users
- Running reports as required
- Support system patching and upgrades by planning, creating and undertaking user testing
- Providing advice and guidance to end users, managers and stakeholders on issues related to the Finance systems
- Developing procedure documents, maintaining system documentation and issue logs
- Participating on system projects
- Meeting Finance System team's response turnaround SLAs
- Managing system access for new users and conducting audits
- Addressing any audit issues
- Customer service experience gained in a systems helpdesk or finance role
- Systems accounting experience
- Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills including liaising with stakeholders and customers
- Planning and organisational skills to ensure tasks are completed within timeframes
- Problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills for investigating and resolving customer or system issues and improving processes
- Self-motivated to develop in the role and increase knowledge through on-the-job experience, working collaboratively and sharing knowledge with others
- Holding or progressing to a tertiary qualification in accounting/finance, and/or IT to undertake this role is not mandatory but would be viewed favourably
