    An opportunity exists for an experienced and suitably qualified finance professional looking for an opportunity with a boutique financial planning practice with its own AFSL.

    We are a proactive firm of Chartered Accountants, Financial Planners and Solicitors. Due to the continuing growth of our financial planning division, we require a financial planning associate to join our friendly team at our Neutral Bay office. We are a highly regarded integrated financial services group with our own AFSL. Internal and external training is offered for the suitable candidate in order to further enhance your skills and knowledge.

    The role - Associate Financial Planner

    You will be working closely with the Principal who is a Chartered Accountant, Certified Financial Planner, and a Self-Managed Superannuation Fund Specialist.

    Given a sustained period of growth, our multi-disciplined practice requires a suitably qualified financial adviser to assist with servicing our predominantly high-wealth clients.

    Ideally, you will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a financial planning practice, have met FASEA requirements, and have an established plan to meet your continuing professional obligations.

    Your Duties will include:

    • Assist the principal with research to develop financial advice strategies, including superannuation, wealth management, retirement, and estate planning.
    • Assistance with the preparation of complex and strategic SOAs.
    • Implement advice recommendations.
    • Opportunity to work closely with our team of tax advisers and lawyers.

    Key Skills and Qualities

    • Minimum of 5 years experience
    • Strong Knowledge
    • Capable of developing and writing complex SOAs
    • Previous experience with XPlan and Microsoft Office
    • Excellent communication and time management skills
    • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
