- Current Drivers Licence Class C (Car)
- Demonstrated experience and minimum 5 years' experience in Land Use Planning
- Demonstrated knowledge of planning legislation and practice
- Demonstrated experience in policy development and implementation
- Demonstrated project management, team leadership, conflict resolution and negotiation skills, including coaching and mentoring staff
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills, including the ability to initiate and respond effectively to change
- Excellent written and oral communications skills, including ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders
- Ability to work both individually and in a team environment with minimal supervision
- Proven organisation and time management skills
