- Proficient use of news broadcast cameras and editing skills on Premiere Pro
- Familiarity with Live Cross procedures and use of live Dejero Units, this is preferred but not essential
- Experience working in the News industry and working on live News bulletins, this is preferred but not essential
- Demonstrated communication skills – storytelling and written and good listening skills
- Attention to detail, timeliness, and planning of tasks to meet deadlines
- Ability to anticipate roadblocks and accurately scope out length and difficulty of task/project
- Demonstrated flexibility where required
- Engages peers, supervisors, colleagues and members of the public in active, open and productive dialogue, and a proven team player
