    The role

    The Assets Branch provides building, property, fleet and facility related services to departmental locations in the CBD, metropolitan area and regional centres. These strategic and operational services are undertaken by applying sound business principles and government policies so that facilities are safe, functional and well maintained, in order to enhance the corporate performance of the Department.

    As the Manager Assets Services, you will lead and manage an operations team and develop, implement, and evaluate planning and operational strategies for the management and delivery of building, fleet and accommodation contract management functions and reform.

    Drawing on your experience, you will play a vital role in developing business cases for accommodation programs including capital works, refurbishments, and minor works programs, oversee and ensure compliance to accommodation procurement and contract management activities along with preparing and managing the operational budget.

    While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other similar vacancies (permanent, fixed-term, full-time or part-time) within the department for the next 12 months.
