    Description

    Located in Pooraka, Tecside are looking for an experienced Pre-cast operator to join the team as a leading hand. If you have experience in pre-cast and want to join a national company with plenty of room for career progression we would love to hear from you

    Duties may include.

    • Leading a team
      * Setting up Molds or forms according to specifications for pouring concrete.
      * Mixing concrete ingredients manually or using machinery such as concrete mixers.
      * Pouring concrete into Molds or forms, ensuring it spreads evenly and fills all spaces.
      * Smoothing and levelling concrete surfaces using tools such as trowels, screeds, and floats.
      * Placing and securing reinforcement materials such as rebar or wire mesh within concrete forms.
      * Operating heavy machinery such as cranes, forklifts, or hoists to move and position precast concrete elements.
      * Removing Molds or forms from cured concrete pieces carefully to avoid damaging the product.
      * Cleaning and maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
      * Inspecting finished precast elements for defects or imperfections and making necessary repairs or adjustments.
      * Assisting in loading, unloading, and transporting precast concrete elements to designated locations.
      * Patching and repairing damaged or defective precast concrete elements.

    Qualifications:
    * Previous experience in concrete work or construction is preferred.
    * Ability to follow specifications and work with precision.

    • Physical strength and stamina for manual labour.
      * Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
      * Basic knowledge of safety protocols in a construction environment
