The System Engineer will be responsible for leading a delivery team in all aspects of system engineering. They will be involved in the system definition of multiple capability delivered and managed within Enterprise Technology System Program Office (ETSPO).

The System Engineer will lead assurance of system specification definition across specified capability elements and the subsequent design, delivery, documentation, validation and release of the solutions delivered.

Essential Criteria

• Conduct a broad range of systems engineering activities related to system design, system specification, implementation and verification and validation activities.
• Analyse complex systems engineering issues across a range of capabilities and apply expertise to identify and recommend courses of action.
• Contribute to and review externally developed designs, plans and other artefacts to ensure integration with requirements and verification processes.
• Coordinate team and service provider resources to deliver and support IT services and products.
• Codification of developed knowledge to enable knowledge transfer to ASD contractors and employees.

Desirable Criteria

• Good knowledge and qualifications in System Engineering principles and processes essential.
• Knowledge of information and cloud systems security principles, practices and technologies essential.
