    Description

    We are looking for a AIX Administrator for a longterm role based in Sydney. You will be a part of a Global Consulting Firm for one of their major projects.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Hands-on experience years) on AIX 5.1/6.1/7.1 native LVM, Systems Partitioning, volume group related Services.
    • Should have worked on assessing and optimizing System Performance and Tuning
    • Hands-on experience OS Migration, TL upgrade, Patches including LPM.
    • Hands-on experience HMC, NIM.
    • Hands-on experience on VIO.
    • Support AIX OS to run various software applications including OS tuning.
    • NPIV, Manage & assign the Lun's to different LPAR's
    • Develop performance improvement initiatives for AIX system environment.
    • dentify and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
    • Plan and coordinate the installation, testing, and maintenance of AIX systems software and related hardware.
    • Analyze software and hardware environments to determine any system defects.
    • Develop and implement disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
    • Support Sev1/ Sev2 incident & problem tickets for client servers. This involves problem determination and implementation of changes to hardware and/ or software
