- Assist with the supervision of day-to-day workshop operations
- Supervise and support allocated employees' work schedules assisting with technical knowledge
where needed. - Provide technical support to the Service Manager in the mechanical and electrical areas ensuring we are
providing customers with the correct fault-finding information - Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, and service equipment as assigned.
- Document machine information and repairs completed on work order, including parts, time and fluids
used - Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support
resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service - Relevant Trade Certificate - Heavy Diesel Fitter/ Mobile Plant Mechanic/ Diesel Mechanic or Equivalent.
- A current and valid driver's licence
- Experience in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, including engine overhauls and major
repairs - Excellent knowledge and understanding of the design & function of John Deere equipment
will be highly regarded - Have an engaging work approach and strong customer service focus.

About the Role:
We have an opportunity at our Richlands, Brisbane branch for a Service Technician Leading Hand. A varied role that will see you working on a range of equipment across John Deere Construction and Forestry machinery.
This workshop-based role will entail from general service and repairs to major overhauls and new machine assembly.
A $5,000.00 sign on bonus is applicable to this role (conditions apply).
