    Description

    CGC Recruitment are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter ready to take the next step into a Leading Hand role. You'll join a high-end residential builder based on the Northern Beaches. They are looking to get in an experienced carpenter and eventually become a leading hand carpenter.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Undertake carpentry tasks including framing, joinery, structural work and finish carpentry on luxury renovation and new-build residential projects
    • Oversee a small team of carpenters and subcontractors on site, ensuring high standards, safety and efficiency
    • Coordinate daily workflow, deliver materials/tools, monitor progress and quality of work
    • Read and interpret technical drawings and work to tight tolerances with premium finishes
    • Communicate with the Site Manager and tradespeople to ensure project milestones are met
    • Mentor and support junior carpenters, promote best-practice methods and work collaboratively toward continuous improvement

    What You Bring

    • Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent trade qualification
    • A minimum of 5 years' practical experience as a qualified Carpenter, ideally within high-end residential or similarly detailed construction
    • Solid ability to work from drawings/specifications and produce finish workmanship to a premium standard
    • Valid NSW driver's licence and willingness to travel around the Northern Beaches.
