- Fabricate and weld high-quality components for bike rack carrier and mounting systems according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Utilize various welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding, to ensure precision and structural integrity.
- Conduct quality inspections of welded components to ensure they meet company standards for strength, durability, and appearance.
- Work on design and manufacturing of welding tooling for robotic welding.
- Program and troubleshoot welding programs.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify areas for process improvement and implement innovative welding solutions.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all occupational health and safety guidelines and protocols.
- Assist with other production tasks and projects as needed to support overall manufacturing operations.
- At least 3 years of proven experience as a Welder (First Class) or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing high-quality welding work.
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques, with the ability to weld various metals, including steel and aluminium.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to produce accurate welds and fabrications.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing work of the highest quality.
- Experience with robotic welding systems and programming.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment, preferably in the automotive or recreational vehicle industry, is highly desirable.
- Relevant welding certifications or qualifications are advantageous.
