    About the Role:

    This position is part of the Bookkeeping team, where you will work closely with three other professionals.

    You will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients and ensuring their end-to-end bookkeeping needs are met.

    Your key duties include:

    • Bank account and credit card reconciliations
    • Preparation of end-of-month accounts
    • Accounts payable and accounts receivable management
    • Payroll processing
    • Reporting
    • Liaising with clients and building strong relationships
    • Resolving issues as necessary
    • Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS)
    • Preparation of budgets for selected clients

    About You:

    To succeed in this role, you should be an experienced Bookkeeper with a background in the public practice accounting sector.

    You will also require:

    • At least 3-5 years of experience as a Bookkeeper
    • Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or equivalent qualification
    • Experience using Xero software
    • Familiarity with MYOB and Quickbooks
    • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with clients
    • Able to work effectively within a small, tight-knit team
